Total Voigt & Voigt
With the digital collection "Voigt & Voigt - Total Voigt & Voigt" we continue our new series of best-of TOTAL contributions of selected KOMPAKT artists, which we started at the end of July with Jörg Burger aka The Modernist. With Reinhard and Wolfgang Voigt and their longtime cooperation project Voigt & Voigt, the next two protagonists of the KOMPAKT founding quadriga join the hopefully long series of musical regulars of our traditional annual label compilation.
Once again the Voigt brothers enchant us here with best wishes from their magical and surreal world, this unique field of tension between merciless techno that musically captures the spirit of a long brewery night, experimental and almost cinematic electronic sketches and finally majestically elegant tracks that always pay homage to pop after spending the entire weekend in the club. You never know exactly what you're going to get when Voigt & Voigt is on it, but that it will challenge ears and head alike is one hundred percent guaranteed.

Heute setzen wir mit der digitalen Sammlung "Voigt & Voigt - Total Voigt & Voigt" unsere neue Reihe von Best-of TOTAL-Beiträgen ausgewählter KOMPAKT-Künstler fort, die wir Ende Juli mit Jörg Burger aka The Modernist gestartet haben. Mit Reinhard und Wolfgang Voigt und ihrem langjährigen Kooperationsprojekt Voigt & Voigt reihen sich damit die nächsten beiden Protagonisten der KOMPAKT Gründungs-Quadriga ein in die noch hoffentlich lange Serie von musikalischen Stammgästen unserer traditionellen jährlichen Label-Compilation.
Einmal mehr verzücken uns die Voigt-Brüder hier mit schönen Grüßen aus ihrer zauberhaften und surrealen Welt, diesem einzigartigen Spannungsfeld aus gnadenlosem Techno, der den Geist einer langen Brauhaus-Nacht musikalisch einfängt, experimentellen und beinahe cineastischen elektronischen Skizzen und schließlich majestätisch-eleganten Tracks, die immer wieder dem Pop huldigen, nachdem sie das komplette Wochenende im Club verbracht haben. Man weiß nie genau, was man bekommt, wenn Voigt & Voigt drauf steht, aber dass es Ohren und Kopf gleichermaßen herausfordert, ist hundertprozentig garantiert.
